In this legal malpractice action, the defendant attorney prepared a commercial lease. Plaintiff did not direct the attorney's work on the lease but relied upon a co-tenant who executed the lease with her. When a dispute arose between the plaintiff and the landlord over the term for the lease and its optional extension, plaintiff sued the landlord and the attorney in these consolidated actions.
