GUIDRY, J.
This appeal raises the procedural question of whether a substitute judge can sign a written judgment giving binding effect to an interlocutory ruling rendered by the original judge who subsequently recused from the case. Finding that the substitute judge improvidently signed a judgment on behalf of the recused judge, we vacate the judgment rendered.
