The Defendant, Darnell Huntley, who was a juvenile at the time of the offense, was convicted of first degree murder on September 30, 1982, and sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, suspension, or commutation of sentence.1 On appeal, the Defendant's conviction was affirmed, but his sentence was vacated and the matter remanded for resentencing to life imprisonment at hard labor...
