This appeal arises from the Crosby plea and sentencing of Leon Howard, who reserved his right to appeal the trial court judge's ruling on his motion to suppress, which the trial court judge previously denied. We find that the trial court judge erred in denying the motion to suppress because the New Orleans police officers' entry into his home was unjustified because no exigent circumstances existed and the subsequently issued search warrant...
