The sole issue in this criminal appeal is whether the district court erred in denying the defendant's motion to suppress the evidence. Finding no error, we affirm the defendant's conviction and sentence.

On May 24, 2010, the State filed a bill of information charging the defendant, Gregory Ulmer, with possession of cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(C)(2). On May 27, 2010, he pleaded not guilty...
