The defendant, Teddy Magee (hereinafter, "Magee" or "the defendant"), was charged by bill of information with one count of home invasion, a violation of La. R.S. 14:62.8 (count one), and one count of second degree sexual battery, a violation of La. R.S. 14:43.2 (count two). On 21 December 2010, he entered pleas of not guilty to both counts.
