STEWART, J.

The defendant, Stacy Humphreys, was convicted of obstruction of justice, in violation of La. R.S. 14:130.1. He was adjudicated a third-felony offender, and sentenced to serve 10 years' imprisonment, without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. The defendant now appeals. Based on the following reasons, we affirm the defendant's conviction, amend his sentence, and affirm his sentence as amended.
