This criminal appeal arises from the First Judicial District Court, Parish of Caddo, State of Louisiana. The defendant, Stanley Mangham, pled guilty to theft of assets of an aged or disabled person, in violation of La. R.S. 14:67.21. Mangham was sentenced to serve eight years' imprisonment at hard labor, consecutive to any other sentence. He was also ordered to pay court costs and to make restitution to the victims.
