The defendant, Selvin Torres-Rodriguez1 ("Torres-Rodriguez") has appealed his conviction on two counts of armed robbery. The court finds that the defendant's guilty pleas and sentences must be vacated because his Boykin hearing was defective. Accordingly, we vacate the judgment and remand the matter to the trial court for another Boykin hearing.
