On February 11, 2010, defendant, Joseph Christopher Austin, was charged in a fourteen-count indictment with nine counts of illegal possession of stolen things (counts 1-9), in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:69, and five counts of simple burglary (counts 10-14), in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:62.
