On July 15, 2002, Carolyn Coody and her husband, Orville Coody, filed a medical malpractice action against Dr. J. Michael Barraza, Radiology Associates and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company.1 Thereafter, on May 29, 2003, at the age of 69 years, Carolyn Coody died of ovarian cancer.
