The State of Louisiana appeals a judgment of the trial court, which granted the appellee, Maya McQuirter's, motion to quash. The State also filed a motion to supplement the record. For the following reasons, we hereby reverse the judgment of the trial court and deny the State's motion to supplement the record because the material contained in the supplement was not presented to the trial court or subjected to adversarial challenge....
