Shaveen Ray Hill, defendant, pled guilty on June 5, 2009 to two counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of La. R.S. 40:967(A)(1). Defendant now appeals, arguing that the trial court erred both by denying his motion to continue his sentencing hearing and by imposing an unconstitutionally excessive sentence.
