Torian Carter was tried along with his co-defendant, Tysean Riles, for attempted simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. See La. R.S. 14:27 and La. R.S. 14:62.2. A unanimous jury verdict found both defendants guilty as charged. Mr. Carter now appeals his conviction, making two assignments of error; he does not appeal his sentence.
