While she shopped at Hobby Lobby in Lafayette, two large clocks fell from a wall display and struck the plaintiff, Jo Anna Savant, in the head. Suffering injuries, Ms. Savant filed suit against Hobby Lobby, alleging negligence. Following a trial, a jury returned a verdict in favor of Ms. Savant finding that fault or negligence on behalf of Hobby Lobby existed, and that this fault or negligence was the legal and cause-in-fact of the accident...
