The plaintiffs filed suit against several treating physicians and a medical equipment provider, seeking damages related to brain damage suffered by their infant daughter. With regard to the medical equipment provider, the plaintiffs primarily asserted that data collected by an apnea monitoring device was negligently lost and/or not delivered to the child's physicians. They alleged that this negligence resulted in the permanent and debilitating damage suffered...
