Katherine Atkins ("Kathy") and Gus Atkins ("Gus") were married on May 27, 2005, in Hamburg, Arkansas. Their son, Jackson, was born on August 4, 2005. Both Kathy and Gus had been previously married and divorced, and Kathy had a daughter, Kayleigh, from her previous marriage to James Rawls. Kathy has joint custody and is the primary domiciliary parent of Kayleigh.

Kathy filed a petition for an article 102 divorce from Gus on January 9, 2008...
