PARRO, J.
In this case arising out of a motor vehicle accident, Vyron Carter appeals a judgment of the district court dismissing his claims in their entirety and with prejudice. This court, on its own motion, filed a rule to show cause why the appeal should or should not be dismissed as untimely. For the following reasons, we grant the rule and dismiss the appeal as untimely.
