Both the plaintiff, Dr. Tommie M. Granger, and the defendant, Christus Health Central Louisiana, appeal a trial court judgment based on a jury damage award of $3,900,000.00 to Dr. Granger. For the following reasons, we amend the trial court judgment to reverse the jury's finding of a violation of the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Act, amend the general damages award by reducing it to $100,000.00, and amend the special damage award...
