GASKINS, J.

The defendant, Darrius R. Williams, was convicted of second degree murder for killing a 17-month-old child with an assault rifle. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. He appeals, asserting two assignments of error. We affirm the defendant's conviction and sentence.
