Defendant/appellant, Terrance T. Favorite ("Favorite"), appeals his conviction of possession of a firearm while in possession of marijuana, in violation of La. R.S. 14:95(E) (count one) and possession of cocaine in violation of La. R.S. 40:967(C) (count two).

In the bill of information, Kirk Favorite and Lance Powell were also charged with possession of cocaine. On December 6, 2010, the State amended the bill to change the spelling...
