In this criminal case, Morris Patin appeals his guilty plea and sentence to manslaughter, asserting that the trial court erred by denying his motion to quash the charge against him based upon the violation of his constitutional and statutory rights to a speedy trial.

After finding that neither of these claims has merit, we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
