Defendant/appellant, Nathan Pettus ("Pettus"), appeals his conviction for simple robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:65.

Pettus was charged with simple robbery in 2008 and pled not guilty. On December 2 and 3, 2009, the case was tried before a six-person jury, and they found him guilty as charged.
