Jerome Felix Hardy Jr. was convicted of possession or introduction of contraband into a penal institution, adjudicated a fourth felony offender and sentenced to 20 years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. He now appeals, urging that the district court erred in admitting into evidence the confession he signed in a disciplinary hearing at the detention center and in denying him the benefit of parole.
