This appeal concerns civil forfeiture pursuant to La.Rev.Stat. 40:2601 et seq. Mr. Nathaniel White appeals an in rem judgment against his 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, VIN # 1GNDS13SX22169603. Judgment was entered in favor of the State of Louisiana ordering that the vehicle be forfeited to the State. For the reasons that follow, we reverse the judgment of forfeiture.
