Following a jury trial, the defendant, Tyrus Tremaine Johnson, was convicted as charged of second degree murder. The trial court imposed the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. The defendant appeals. We affirm the defendant's conviction and sentence.
