On May 13, 2010, a Jefferson Parish grand jury indicted Jeremy Turner and two co-defendants with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, in violation of La. R.S. 14:26:64, and second degree murder, in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1, of Cletis Jessie, Jr. (hereinafter "the victim").1 Defendant pled not guilty to the charges at arraignment.
