On February 16, 1993, Eddie Ray Jackson entered a plea of guilty to "Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile" pursuant to La. R.S. 14:80. The conviction was based on Jackson, then twenty-three (23) years old, engaging in consensual sex with a female under the age of seventeen (17).
