Derrick Young, Sr., is a deputy with the Madison Parish Sheriff's Department. He was injured while responding to a 911 call when his patrol car was struck by a fire truck driven by Johnny Marsh, a firefighter with the City of Tallulah and a volunteer firefighter with the Madison Parish Police Jury ("MPPJ").
