The defendant, Bruce Gill, pled guilty as charged to one count of distribution of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (cocaine). He was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment at hard labor, with the first two years to be served without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence, consecutive to any other sentence the defendant is obligated to serve.
