Defendant, Gregory D. Dixon, pled guilty as charged to one count of attempted second degree murder and one count of second degree battery. He was sentenced to a term of 38 years at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence on the attempted second degree murder conviction and to a term of 3 years at hard labor on the second degree battery conviction, with the sentences to be served consecutively.
