Preserving his right to appeal the denial of his motion to suppress, the defendant, Jerry Baldwin, pled guilty to second offense possession of marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966(E)(2)(a), and received a sentence of five years at hard labor with credit for time served. Baldwin now appeals the denial of his motion to suppress. Finding no abuse of discretion in the trial court's ruling, we affirm the defendant...
