Defendant, Joseph A. Williams, was charged by bill of information with one count of Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:81.3. Defendant pled not guilty. On August 26, 2010, defendant waived his right to a trial by jury and proceeded to a judge trial on that same date. At the close of trial, defendant was found to be guilty as charged.
