In this criminal matter, defendant, Derald Gene Johnson, appeals his two narcotics convictions as well as his multiple offender adjudication and sentence. For the reasons that follow, we affirm defendant's convictions, vacate his multiple offender adjudication and sentence, and reinstate his original sentences, as amended, and remand this matter to the district court for proceedings consistent with this opinion.
