The defendant, Kikyator Jones, appeals his conviction and sentence for possession of heroin, a violation of La.Rev.Stat. 40:966(C)(1). After review of the record in light of the applicable law and arguments of the parties, we affirm the defendant's conviction, vacated the defendant's twenty-year sentence, reinstate the defendant's twelve year sentence and, as reinstated, affirm the defendant's sentence.
