PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

Defendants Rayshaud E. Green and Dominique Hawthorne were jointly charged by bill of information with armed robbery, La. R.S. 14:64, while armed with a gun, of Johan Agurcia.

Defendants pleaded not guilty at their arraignment. The trial court denied defendants' motions to suppress the evidence and identifications. At the end of a two day jury trial on August 24, 2009, a twelve-person jury found...
