After a jury trial, Defendant, Gregory Glenn Caldwell, was convicted of theft of goods with a value of $500 or more, in violation of La. R.S. 14:67.10. He was subsequently adjudicated a fourth-felony offender and sentenced to 30 years' imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of probation or suspension of sentence.
