BROWN, Chief Judge.

This matter comes before this court pursuant to a writ grant to docket. Appellant, the juvenile who will be referred to herein as "J.S.," filed a writ seeking review of the trial court's denial of a motion to quash the state's petition for adjudication as a delinquent on the basis of double jeopardy. For the reasons set forth below, the trial court's judgment is reversed and the petition for adjudication is dismissed.
