BROWN, Chief Judge.

A jury convicted defendant, Randy Thompson, of simple burglary, a violation of La. R.S. 14:62. He was subsequently sentenced to serve ten years at hard labor with credit for time served. He has appealed claiming that there was insufficient evidence to convict for simple burglary and that the ten-year sentence is unconstitutionally harsh and excessive. We affirm.
