Plaintiffs, Anthony Romano and his wife Melissa Romano, filed suit for damages against defendant, John Patrick Altentaler, and his homeowner's insurer, Louisiana Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company (Farm Bureau). The trial court rendered summary judgment dismissing the Romanos' claims against Farm Bureau, on the basis of an intentional act exclusion in the homeowner's policy.
