A twelve-person jury found Darius Adams, the defendant, guilty-as-charged on four counts.1 Following the verdicts, Mr. Adams filed a motion for post-verdict judgment of acquittal and a motion for new trial. See LA.C.CR.P. ARTS. 821 and 851. The trial judge denied the motions and, on the same date, sentenced Mr. Adams. Following his sentencing, Mr. Adams appealed his convictions. See LA. C.CR.P. ARTS...
