Appellant was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon to which he pled not guilty. Counsel moved for a competency hearing following which appellant was found incompetent to proceed to trial, and he was remanded to a forensic facility. Subsequently a second competency hearing was held and he was deemed competent to proceed to trial. A hearing on motions resulted in the district court finding...
