After a bench trial, Harry Lee Richardson, Defendant, was convicted of aggravated rape, a violation of La. R.S. 14:42. Defendant was sentenced to the mandatory term of life imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. Defendant now appeals. For the reasons stated herein, Defendant's conviction and sentence are affirmed.
