On October 24, 2006, defendant, Tim Price, was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine in excess of 28 grams, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 F. At the October 27, 2006 arraignment, defendant pled not guilty. He then filed motions to suppress a statement and to suppress evidence, both of which were denied on March 19, 2007.
