On March 6, 2008, a Jefferson Parish Grand Jury indicted defendant, Timothy Santini, for the second degree murder of Raymond Babin in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. On the following day, defendant was arraigned and pled not guilty to this charge. On June 2, 2008, the trial court denied defendant's motions to suppress evidence, identification, and statement.
