This criminal appeal arises from the First Judicial District Court, Parish of Caddo, State of Louisiana. The defendant, James L. Cass, was convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance, namely marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966(A)(1).
