The defendant, Tyrone Hunter, was charged by bill of information with one count of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance (CDS), marijuana, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966(A)(1), and one count of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II CDS, cocaine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(A)(1). Pursuant to a plea agreement, the defendant pled guilty as charged and the state agreed not to file an habitual offender...
