Plaintiff, Rent-A-Center East, Inc., appeals a district court's grant of summary judgment in favor of defendant, Lincoln Parish Sales & Use Tax Commission. The district court declared that the sum of $15,433.11, the amount in sales taxes Rent-A-Center paid under protest, was the property of the Lincoln Parish Sales & Use Tax Commission.
