Defendant, Darnell Junior, was charged by bill of indictment with second degree murder in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1.1 Defendant pled not guilty at arraignment. Defendant's motions to suppress identification, evidence, and statements, including a verbal statement, were denied by the trial court. The court granted defendant's motion to sever.
