This criminal appeal arises from the First Judicial District Court, Parish of Caddo, State of Louisiana. The defendant, Eric Dejuan Baulkman ("Baulkman"), was convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance, namely marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966(A)(1). He was adjudicated a second felony offender and sentenced to 25 years at hard labor without probation or suspension of sentence. This appeal ensued...
